Kilnwave Records began as one treated room and a stubborn belief: great records come from great rooms, honest ears, and artists who feel at home. A decade on, that room has grown into Bristol’s most-booked independent studio.
Built by musicians,
run by engineers.
Every Kilnwave engineer still plays, tours, or produces. That matters when you are tracking your fourth vocal take at midnight — the person behind the glass has been exactly where you are standing.
Today the studio runs three treated rooms, a live lounge for full-band cuts, and a dedicated mix suite. More than thirty records a year leave this building for streaming, vinyl, and sync — each one shaped by the same hands-on process we started with.
